A director-led international
commercial firm.
Celtica specialises in the acquisition, valuation, structuring and commercialisation of Irish whiskey assets — connecting Irish supply with international buyer demand through a disciplined, director-led commercial process.
Celtica specialises in the acquisition, valuation, commercialisation and international sale of Irish whiskey assets — casks, bulk stock, bottled inventory and private-label supply. The company has traded internationally since 2014 and operates as an Irish Revenue authorised bonded trader.
Every asset moves through the same disciplined commercial chain: Acquire, Verify, Value, Structure, Sell, Deliver. Celtica's role is practical — to hold the relationships, the market evidence and the operational experience an asset holder or buyer would otherwise need years to build, and to put that to work from the first conversation through to completed delivery.
Director-led. Commercially accountable.
Aidan O'Connell
Commercial Analyst
Aidan specialises in acquiring, valuing, structuring and commercialising Irish whiskey assets for owners, liquidators and international buyers. Based in Cork, Ireland, he leads Celtica's strategic direction, whiskey-asset transactions, commercial valuations and key client relationships.
That expertise has been built through hands-on involvement in the acquisition, restructuring, valuation and commercialisation of beverage and Irish whiskey assets — managing transactions involving bonded cask portfolios, surplus and liquidation inventory, bottled stock, international buyers, bonded warehouses and complex routes to market.
Aidan's role is to identify the commercial opportunity within an asset, determine the most appropriate route to value, and oversee the transaction from first assessment to completed delivery. He is the principal Irish commercial contact for whiskey assets, valuations, liquidations and insolvency assignments, sourcing, bottling projects, and strategic or general commercial enquiries.
John Galvin
International Market Analyst
John is responsible for Celtica's international commercial development — building and managing relationships with international buyers, importers, distributors, retail groups, private-label customers and strategic commercial partners. He leads this work from San Diego, California, which anchors Celtica's presence in the North American market.
John's role connects Irish whiskey supply with international demand, with particular emphasis on North America and the development of scalable routes to market. He supports commercial negotiations, buyer development and the placement of casks, bulk whiskey and finished product across international markets.
With a commercial career built on managing partner relationships across multiple markets and channels, John brings the discipline of a formal account structure to every programme — from first enquiry through to long-term, repeat supply. He is the principal contact for buyers, importers, distributors, international routes to market, private-label opportunities and North American partnerships.
Together, Celtica's leadership provides a direct commercial connection between Irish whiskey supply in Ireland and buyer demand in the United States and wider international markets.
